Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. Haggai 2:1
Consider your ways lest you fall. God’s work should always take precedence. Nothing will work in your life for the better until you do the work of the Lord. Your heart should be sensitive toward the need of this world. Wherever you go the cry is the same. In order to have a better world, you need better people. In order to have better people, the condition of the heart must be changed and in order to change the condition of the heart, the love of God is required and you have to spread it wherever you go. John 15:12 declares, This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
If a nation practices wickedness, God can punish that nation by closing the windows of heaven until she repents. You cannot poke God in the eye and enjoy His blessings at the same time. If you’re not in harmony with Him, your path will get darker and darker. Proverbs 4:18-19 declare, But the path of the just is like the shining sun,
That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.
Everything that God provides to mankind is a blessing. We get energy from the sun and He sends the rain to water the field. Note that energy from the sun, oxygen and water are required to survive on this people planet, called earth. Thus, if God closes the heaven and there’s no dew and the field does not produce any crops or fruits, we cannot survive. Therefore, it should behoove us to seek Him daily and be great-full for His abundant blessing. We plant the seed but He makes it grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6 declares, I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
May the Lord multiply His grace in your life, and cause you to be fruitful Spiritually in this year.
